I'm trying to decide which 30.06 to buy - any thoughts, experience, etc?

The 710 is the new kid on the block. The 700 is tried and proven.

The 710 is an "entry level rifle," the 700 gives you more options. I have a 700 and it will remain my only Remington.

The 710 is a total piece of junk. Bolt problems to boot. I called Remington when we first started to ge these in about the bolt being very "hard to operate". They had told me that they were taking them back for free, and polishing the bolts. I would go 700 all the way.
