I was just wondering if anyone had any feedback on the P7. I'm seriously considering purchasing one, so any info would be great. Thanks -g

The PSP, P7, P7M8 and P7M13 have a very loyal following. They are certainly unique pistols. The H-K Pro website bulletin boards (which seem to be down a lot, and are down now) contain constant discussion of these pistols. There is some good information on the rest of the site regarding these pistols. (www.hkpro.com)My impression is that they are very accurate and easy shooting. The "squeeze cocking" takes a little getting used to, but it would probably be a good house gun because not many would know how to operate it. Pre-ban magazines for the M13 are fairly expensive.

it depends on your intended use for the pistol; I found that if you wear it in an IWB holster, it is entirely possible to draw without having the right grip angle to fully cock the striker. It is very difficult to recover from such a condition in a hurry. I sold the P7 because of repeated failures to cock. Nothing wrong w/ the pistol- just wasn't right for me. Otherwise, it was accurate and controllable and flat. The grip angle is good, the sights are lined up right as you draw. Somewhat tedious to clean after a range session.
