Need value of Crosman 600

While cleaning out the cellar, I came accross a Crosman 600 semi-automatic pellet pistol , which had been given to me by a friend 15 years ago. The pistol is black with brown plastic grips and has what appears to be a reasonable amount of wear for its age, evidently having been used quite a bit.One side of the barrel has the words "Crosman Arms Company, Inc. Fairport, N.Y." and the other side has "CO2 Semi-Automatic" and "Crosman 600" and the serial number "078423". The box appears original and has a black rocket on the top. It is pretty beat up, the corners of the top box having been scotch taped together. Literature in the box includes a small red folded manual, a single sheet Crosman Price List dated April 1, 1969, and a red Crosman booklet titled "More shooting fun with Rifles, Pistols and Shotguns". There is also a white instruction sheet titled "To Charge Pistol with CO2 Powerlet". Finally, there is a black metal ramrod, used to clear a pellet from the barrel. The manual states the caliber as "Crosman .22 caliber Super Pell."I do not know if the gun is operable, not having attempted to fire it. If anyone has any idea of the value of this pistol, I would appreciate your time and help. Thanks very much.Kevinxam@monad.net[This message has been edited by onahut (edited 11-05-2001).]
