16ga. Side by side made by Fabrique Nationale D'armes De Guerre Herstal Belgique.Other than that and some belgum proofs there is only the ser.#27xxx.Does anyone know any websites where info can be found?The reference books I've looked in only told me of the proofs. Thanks,Starride

    These guys have made lots of guns for lots of years, and the only way you're going to get any good information on this is to determine the model, post a picture, or actually show it to an expert. Also, condition is always important in determining value.

    Sorry about the lack of info on my post.I've showed it to my local smith but he couldn't find anything in his ref.material.I don't as of yet have a digatal camera. The gun has no mod.# anywhere on it. It has 30" s by s barrels,FN made,butt plate made of horn,engraved screw heads,checkered pistol grip and forstock. If anyone can point me toward a site that could help I'd be greatful. Starride
