CZ, 25 cal, 8 shot, semi auto?

Does Anyone have an information on a CZ,Ceska Zbrojovka-Narodni PodnikStrakonice....Stamped in English is "Made in Czechoslovakia...circled 635..Stamp mark and #48 in the Trigger Guard..This Firearm is in excellent condition..Anyone know the going Value..Pics available upon request...Thanks for any help...Perry

    Have a little info. I was in Czechoslovakia in 1948 and saw the .25 DAO auto pistol They seemed well made. Considered importing them but decided cost plus US customs at the time would have made it a loser. Doubt many were imported into US. There was one similar made some years ago in Italy or Spain, some of which were sold with the Colt name on them. Value of the Czech version would probably be about the same as the non-Colts.

    Thank You for your assistance...With this low serial number...could you guess the year..I was trying to figure if a Symbol or number stamped out in the Guard...then it shows "48"Thanks..Again...Perry
