Is there such thing as a model 87? I have a friend selling a revolver and the numbers stamped on the base of the cylinder opening is 870 over the letter E. It has a 3 to 4 inch barrel and is a 38 special. I'd say finish is 90%. Not a scratch on the grips which are wood and the taurus emblem is silver in color. It is blued. It has adjustable rear sight. We could not find this in a firearms book. Any ideas?? Value??

What is the difference between the Stainless Steel Revolver and the Ultra-Lite Model of the same Stainless Gun?

Is "Ultra-Lite" aluminum alloy or Titanium or a combination of several metals, (alloy cylinder or frame, steel barrel, what)? Thanks in advance!!

Henry Ford stated: "There is no one more useless than a Convict, except perhaps, those that guard him." This was his reason NOT to hire either one!

I have a Taurus 44 mag revolver, and my question is this. As I look down the sights, I notice that the sights, along with the barrel assy. are canted a few degrees. How do I turn the barrel assy. so that everything is straight with the world? Thanks in advance.
