in 1964 the 'model 925 defender' was introduced again, this time based of the model 999's of the era, it has a small grip frame with special one piece plastic shaped birds head grips. the barrel lengths offered were 2 1/2 and 4inch, the 4 inch was dropped early on but the 2 1/2 inch stayed in production until 1979. there was also a nickel version model 935 offered for a few years 1977-1979.
