I have never used Talley products, but have always heard very good things about them. Has anyone used their ring & base sets, where the the scope ring and base is one piece? If so, how did you like them?

Here is a link to what I am trying to describe.

I have several pairs of Talleys on various rifles, but all of mine are vertically split rings, most made by Dave Talley before he retired and the Company moved south. I have a pair from the new maker, and the quality is good. I have not tried the ones you picture. These days everything gets Burris Signature Rings and Bases.

I just used the rings pictured to mount a 30 mm Leupold 4.5-14X50mm on a Tikka 595 in .223. I have been shooting the rifle for several weeks at paper and a few jacks. The rings have worked very well.

I also have some of the Talley rings that are split vertically, with a separate base. They are on a Sako 75 in 25-06.

In my experience, Talley is an excellent product. When I have called Talley directly and ordered them over the phone, the service has been superb, and they arrived within three days or so.
