    believe it or not there was a henry arms company that manufactured single barrel shotguns with a side hammer. the henry arms that are attributed to folsom were manufactured in belgium and were double barrel only. folsom may also have acted as the distributor for the henry arms co. single barrrel also. what is known is grandville henry (the last of a long line of henry's who had no connection to B. Tyler Henry dating back to the 1750's) was granted a patent on 10-20-1891 for a single barrel shotgun with a side hammer. the patent covered a unique barrel locking system. only a hands on examination or good quality pictures will determine just what your henry marked shotgun is.
