hi.

my 1100 remmy dont seem quite right, the carts are not loading to the breech, from the tube, it keep jamming up(looks like the feed latch, bent/worn) so i shall replace this, also the bruising has been polished off the hammer, & the action bar/breech bolt is free floating from the interceptor, should this be so?

thanks

Hello, i am intrested in buying a buds remmy 1100 multi-choke, the price is ok, thing is.....i had 2 of these before & the mag tube has always bust. Since they are not screwed in, like an italian shotgun, they become beyond economical repair , to replace the tubes & i have to scrap them (shame, cos i luv em) Whats the average age they before they break , or how much use ?? Are there any give away sign's .

My wife and I used to shoot with a trap and skeet club.We used our 1100's an incredable amount.every Sunday if not on another shoot at the chevron club 100 rounds apiece.
I even used mine duck hunting with heavy 3 inch loads.
only part I ever had to replace was the rubber o-ring.

I've been in 'the business' since 1969 & have only seen one m-1100 with a bad mag. tube. sent that one back to Rem. & they fixed it free.

I got an 1100TB NIB from the distributor, & the mag tube had broken off in transit. Remington scrapped the gun & sent me a new one.

So, I guess the answer is, "It can happen at any time."
