I have a Browning Challenger II 22 semi-automatic pistol. It is mint condition, if fired it was only once. it's still in the original box with the manual. It was manufactured in 1982. Could anyone tell me what it is worth.

If it's NIB with all original documents and accessories, that it was sold with? There might be some collector interest. After the Belgium Challengers were phased out, a couple of different U.S. made versions were sold until the mid 80's. This is when Browning brought out the BuckMark. Your best bet would be to take quality photos and put it on the auction. My guess if there is any collector demand, it might be in the $300-$400 range.

Another thing I forget to mention is that the magazines are valuable. As they are the same type used in the original Belgium made Nomads, Challengers and Metalists. If you have any extra magazines marked with the Browning name, it would bump up the value, by $40 to $50 , each.

Regarding Challenger II/Belgium Challenger, Nomad, Medalist
    The Magazines are NOT interchangeable.
Completely different grip angle and will not interchange.
Each will slide into the mag well of the other, but will NOT lock in place and will NOT function.
(Just tried it to make sure what I knew was indeed correct)
As rufe said, the mags are scarce for either.
New Belgium Challenger mags (factory/not aftermarket) will command in excess of $100.

The last Belgian made Challenger that I owned, most of the magazines that I used with it, were the later type marketed by Browning. These were the early BuckMark ones that had the (2) magazine retention points. One on the base so they would work with the Belgian Challengers, Nomads etc. And a notch cut on the side to function with the BuckMarks. It was my understanding that these magazines would also function with the U.S. made Challenger II & III.

Many times in the past I have run across these early BuckMark magazines being sold inexpensively at gunshows. Most folks don't realize that they will also work with the various Belgian .22's, so they don't ask a arm & a leg for them.

I was recently offered $425 for my Challenger II which is 99% no box or papers. I think $300-$400 is low for yours if it's NIB.
