1878 colt saa

I just looked at a colt saa from 1878. US marked with dfc on cylinder, bottom of grip and barrel. Numbers match but look very sharp. Also hn on side of hammer.
I know what the initials stand for but a couple of questions,
should there be dfc on frame near serial number ?
I think this has been faked as the letters are to sharp.
the condition is 80% but a worn bule on the frame and not a silvered out case hardening. Thanks bertman
