Engraved 1851 Colt Navy Revolver

I posted an inquiry several days ago but did not have the revolver "in hand". This is a non-factory engraved 1851 Colt Navy revolver with carved ivory grips which was once owned by George Washington West, founder of the City of George West, Texas. All numbers except the wedge match and the action is perfect. Note the lion or dragon(?) engraved on the hammer. Can anyone help me to identify the engraver? Here are a number of pictures:
