AR 15 question

I bought an SP1 upper minus the bolt, carrier, and charger handle. This is a later one with the small pin hole. Will any standard carrier work in these or do I need a special one?

Does anybody know why the collapsable stocks for ar15's come with two buffers? I have looked at quite a few and all come with two.
    Thanks

Two buffers? at the same time. They will only have one buffer and a spring, there are different typies,.223, 9mm, heavy and also cheap low quality ones. The buffer will have loose rubber inside that will rattle when shaken. If you buy are preban AR type rifle that has a "low quality" stock replace it with something like a colt or bushmaster.
