i have a 14" upper with permanent muzzle break to bring it up to 16".i believe its silver soldered as i can see no welds or pins.is it possible to remove it(or have a pro remove it)in order to permanently attach a different break,or is this best left as is?the factory break works just fine, but is VERY loud, and i was hoping to install a levang break for comfort.thanks

If it is silver soldered on you will need a MAP torch.
However many have a blind pin hidden by a weld.
You can split it off with a Dremel and a cold chisel if that is the case
    Just remember the legalities.
