Cylinder install price?

Howdy,

As mentioned in my recent post of "S&W Victory", I'm looking for a guess-timate price a gunsmith may charge for swapping out an old and installing a new K-frame cylinder??

Ball park figures, yet with 1st hand knowledge, are greatly appreciated. This so I know about what I'll be getting into before traipsing on into 'smiths shop.

EDIT Gesshots, no sweat as I was about to open this cylinder topic anyhow. And thanks-- I'll give Brownells 'Price Survey'a look. Ok, just looked it up & nope, no go with cylinder change, except general g-smith's hourly rates.

    45er,
Sorry I waisted your space and time with useless info.
Check the Brownell's catalog - Shop Price Survey List-
for for current labor cost estimates only. Parts are extra.
    Good luck.
It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books
