    Unless you absolutely have to have a 40, go with the 9mm. And I'm a guy that has carried a 40, every day for the last 6+ years.

    Law enforcement wise, the 40 has gradually lost favor. After the FBI decision.

    The current resale market reflects this. Bought a new CZ in 40, number of years ago. Impulse kind of buy. Really unhappy after shooting it. Perceived recoil, was much more than any 9mm. Felt like a 45, almost. And what got me was that it was all steel. Much heavier than my G 27 EDC. Took a $200 hit, when I finally managed to get rid of it.
