Would this be a safe practice and would it improve trigger functions?

I'm not sure it helps in trigger pull a lot, but I'll take a single shot over a no shot any day. I would have loved to ask Mr. Browning about this improvement in design, but thankfully it is easily "corrected".

If you are hesitant to remove the magazine diso, I would suggest keeping it but give the face of the diso a good polish, as the area on the magazines that it rubs against.

This will improve the trigger, it will be less gritty. I always remove the mag disco, as stated above a single shot is better than a no bang.

Change the hammer spring to a 23lb. spring. Polish the sear or get one from Cylinder & Slide. You will have a superb trigger then. [:)]
