Marlin 22lr magazine disassembly

Anybody have any tricks or tips on how to diassemble the 7 round mags from the older rifles of the 60s onward?

    Post some good pic's of the magazine.

    I'm not sure it will work, but press the follower down with a flat thin object like a ruler, press like a toothpick threw the hole in the side to trap the spring, turn over and shake out the loose follower out.

    to reassemble, I use a carpenters pencil to push the spring down. After cleaning silicone spray is a good dry type lube.
