    S&W 41, 422, 622, et al.

Floor plate would have identified it as S&W.

It appears to me to be, one of the earlier manufactured mags. Specifically for the 41/46 series. Made before the late 80's, when Smith put the 622/422/2206 guns into production.

The 622/422/2206 mags, had the magazine latch cut extended to the front of the magazine. Also a solid plastic follower. The follower in the photo, appears to be one of the early production stamped steel ones.

To bad the mag is so thrashed. Original 41/46 mags, are worth more than later production dual use mags. Made after the late 80's.
