    The 300 Series was produced for about ten years beginning in 1970 and were Marlin's house scope for most of their single shot, semi auto and bolt action .22 rifles. I believe that old retail was around fifteen dollars, but if you bought it as a part of a package with the rifle you saved a buck. New in the box it might be worth $70.
