Looking for exactly how the base plate stampings were done on a late 1940's Colt commercial Government .45 acp

    Hi Howard. I don't know if this will help or not, but since nobody else replied, here goes: This mag is from a 1952 Commercial Model.

    Can't get a clear view of it

    The top mag I show below is is supposed to be from a 1960's, the bottom mag from the 1950's
