Worth of J Stevenson tip-up rifle?

Patented Sept 6 1864; 32/40 shells octagon barrel w/wooden forearm barrel. Brass butt plate w/ adjustable sights. Have asked around---can't seem to find any info on this & all books checked have not shown this older type. Thanks.

    What you have is collectable, but condition means a lot. In 80% conditon it would be worth $325.

    I'm thinking that a careful re-examination of the name will show it to be J. Stevens.
