Anyone who can help me identify an unusual stamping that is on an original 1st model Henry rifle made in 1863 is asked to please email me so I can email you a pic of the marking. It looks similar to the japanese mum we have all seen, but different. I am trying to nail it down correctly. I have not seen this mark before. Thanks! "hp289@earthlink.net"

    hp289,

Contact me at Win1885@msn.com. I will be away from my computer for a few days though (while I am in Las Vegas for the Antique Arms Show[:D]) If I can't pin it down, I have a very good acquaitance who can.
