Do you know the process you must go through to get one from CMP? It's not hard, but it does take a little effort on your part, more than just ordering one. 'Course, what good things don't take a little effort.
Yes I am aware of the requirements of purschasing an m1 from the CMP. I have an order form printed out and I meet most of the requirements. The only requirement that I need to fulfill is to become a member of a CMP affiliated gun club. There are several around my area and I would just have to do some calling to see which one I would like to join.
