for those that have asked in the past about mounting a scopr on the old m-70 winchesters without drilling the rear bridge (m-54 also).

    I see one of the bases mounts to the holes that are drilled and tapped at the factory in the front bridge...where does the other go? Does it somehow attatch to the stripper clip slot?
