Taurus 941 opinions

My brother-in-law found what we think was a helluva deal at a gun show today. A Taurus 941 .22 mag. 5" barrel stainless for $200. Shooter's Bible lists it for $395, I just wanted to get some real world opinions. Also does anyone have any experience with this gun? Quality? Accuracy?-Marcus

Very good quality. .22 mag. handguns produce a lot of muzzle blast, but do make a good hiking/camping gun. Sounds like a fair price.

Not sure if 941 is a revolver, but I have a Taures 22mag revolver, 8 shot. Very nice gun, shoot well. Only problem I have is the empty shells get hard to eject from their expansion so I spray the cylinder every so ofter with a little gun oil. This helps them to slide out easy.

Just-shoot,Yes it's a revolver. From what you've said, I beleive it's the same as yours.-Marcus
