Value of a display gun

A friend has a 1934 Vickers water cooled machinegun. The gun is complete with the exception of the right side plate and the water can and hose. The gun was manufactured at the original Vickers plant in 7.92mm/8mm. This gun may have been a display sample to the Swedish Gov. as it appears to have never been fired. The gun comes with a restored Maxim tripod. He is thinking of selling and needs an idea of the value.

Thanks,

Steve
