I once owned a Rifle don't know who made it but all I can remember was it was a .22 and you took it apart and it fit into the stock. I was camo colored. Does anybody know the model and manfacturer cause I am looking to find it again to add to my collection.[:)]

The "AR 7" has been made by ArmaLite, Charter Arms & Henry, over the years. They never had a very good reputation for reliability.

Here is a good link, where this guy gives their history and how he's worked on them to increase reliability.

To the best of my knowledge, Henry is the only company that manufactures them currently. If you want a Charter or ArmaLite, your going to have to find a used one that functions.
