Any one got one of Miltech's restored rifles? Really like the looks and feel of the M1903 Springfield and am interested in having a good shooter.

It must be right, or we wouldn't do it this way!

I have had a few pass through the shop for customers. First class all the way. No one ever had any complaints except the cost!

I guess it depends on what you really want, but I'd think you could have a very good shooter grade '03 for a lot less than you'd have invested in the Mil-Tech.

Regardless of whether you get one that has been restored or not, there's still the issue of action strength to consider. Of the Springfield built '03's, those above S/N 1,275,000 are still considered to be the strongest.
