Serial # or barrel codes for date of mfg

I would like to know the date of manufacture of my Remington Model 700 30-06. The barrel is stamped LP59 and the serial # is D6853305.

Can anyone help me translate this to a date of manufacture?

Thanks for the prompt reply! Very helpful....How can I tell if it was made in 1967 or 1995? Both use the letter "P"....
