AUCTION SIDE LISTING PROBLEM

I'm haveing a problem listing an item on the auction side. I've tried several times to list a (breaf) discription only to have it 'cut off' about 1/2 way. I tried relisting it and editing it after listing but can only get in so many words. I thought the 'discription' part of a listing was unlimited.

    FIGURED IT OUT, SORT-OF when I enter (<200) that cuts of the rest ???

    The greater and less than signs indicate the start and end of markup tags.

    Of course, the GB software should parse these and convert them to html entities instead of the single character that has special meaning...
