Can anybody tell me when they stopped making the 9422 in at the Winchester plant? I am trying to find a nice one for my collection but would rather not have one built in Japan.

I believe that was like the rest of the Winchester's...2006.

Winchester or USRA never made the 9422 in Japan. I think the last 9422's were made in 2005 with the "Tribute" editions.

OK, one more time: The Winchester Model 9422 was NEVER made in Japan. NEVER.

Not the Legacy, not the Classic, not the Yellow Boy, not the Annie Oakley, not the Tribute, etc., etc., etc...
