Just bought a new mini firestorm (9mm) and I think I did alright on the price($300.00) but the dealer wanted $40.00 for extra mags.Does anyone know where I can get cheaper mags, or is this what I should expect to pay?I've checked some of the sights on the web that I know of, but no one even carries them.help?

The MiniFireStorm uses the same magazine pattern as the Bersa Thunder 9, which is the same pistol in full-size. (The Thunder 9 is, in my opinion, about the finest pistol design there ever was, regardless of price.) There is no other magazine of the same latch hole position, so you must use original magazines. The Bersa/FireStorm line is not popular enough to warrant after-market magazine production. The magazine price is fair. Your dealer is marking up the magazine a whole lot less percentage-wise than he/she marked up the pistol. You can adapt Beretta M92 and Taurus 92/99 magazines to fit by cutting a new latch hole. You can then use a full-size 15-round magazine for a spare and carry the pistol with the 10-round stubby magazine in place. Of course, a Bersa Thunder 9 magazine will work unmodifed, but they are rare in 15-round because the Thunder 9 was introduced just as the magazine-capacity limit became law.
