Armalite 180b

Pardon me if this has already been asked. I have been off this forum for about two weeks getting caught up on grading.

Armalite is supposed to come out with a new version of their 180b semi-auto .223 rifle. They told me it should retail for around $600 bucks. Does anyone have one of these or know anything about them? If I understood correctly, not just the stock but the whole receiver is a polymer. Is that correct? If so, how will it hold up to constant firing and longterm use?

I want to put a folding stock of some type on my Armalite 180B. Is it legal. I was told that post ban rifles can not have one assembled to the gun. I don't know where to start. Where to even buy something like that. Is it very hard to assemble any thing like that.

The fist set of AR 180B are in the market place and people do have them. The original Price retail was $600.00 now it is up to $650.00. Thats when I ordered mine. It is suposed to be here in the Summer. I have an original AR 180 so it will be fun seeing what the differences are. There is a web site devoted to the AR 180. On that site I read that the AR 180B functions flawlessly.

No folding stock on the AR 180B. It was one of the evil functions of a rifle. fiked stock only. ((sorry))
