WILL THESE RIFLES TAKE THE SAME STOCK?

    The only thing similar in these two rifles is the "P" in their name.

    if you are building a sporter, yes they are the same (for all practical purposes) the p-14 is originaly a .303 british and the p-17 is .30/06. if you are restoring one to original, there are slight differences. the lower part of the action (the area that mates with the stock) is the same on both rifles.

    the magazine well is smaller on the p14 stock and the barrel channel is smaller down by the breech end
