cdm pistol

could anyone help me with a pistol made by CDM *. Inc. New York
the model is a CDM. It shoots 22 shorts 6 shot and has what appears to be some kind of pearl handle.
I was looking to find out about what date is was mfg and anyother information or where to look to find it on the net or books.

    O.K. , I'll try on this one ...CDM is swalhele for "turd" , this is an
    example of what became to be called "saturday nite spls"...a lot of these were "made" in foriegn countrys (germany-but not "german"
    quality ect...)some made here , some made else-where??? and assembled
    here (in fla. by "cheap-unskilled" labor) ect...very little if any
    real values at all, a "few" collect them (why???), also sometimes
    called suicide specials...if they break , and they do , parts are
    rare and cost more than the item is worth...when we get these in on
    trade (not very often -thank goodness) we render them unfirable and
    use them as wall decorations in our shop ....we do not reccommend to
    fire these nor do we "smith" on them...mostly importation stopped
    with the gca of 68......not much info , but hope it helps............
