TAPCO shows a sling in their Issue #2, 2002, Stock No. MIL52103 for $14.99. You can view their merchandise at www.tapco.com . A few months ago they had two varieties, but now it looks like this is the only model currently in stock. I have a feeling that they will be in and out of stock frequently in the future as there's a big demand.

Any scope mount that doesn't require drilling isn't worth having on an M44. Those cheap clamp over mounts wont hold a zero for crap, especially with the recoil of an M44.

If anything the least intrusive scope mount for the rifle would probably be a Soviet PSO type mount. It would mount on the side of the reciever and even with scope attached you will still be able to use your existing iron sights.

As far as a sling, what purpose are you going to use your rifle for. If you want to use it for say a military rifle competition, you will probably want a national match type sling. They will cost you just under $40, alot of times even less, but they are the best slings I've ever used for anything. If you just going to use it for lugging around on your shoulder, just buy a little $4 special at your local sporting goods store. If your going to use it for hunting you might want one with bullet loops in it for extra rounds. If your going for the original look than checkout www.tapco.com and get an original M44 sling. They should be pretty cheap too.
