rem7 or win70 short mag

Thinking about a short magnum just want to get some opinions on them. Thanks

    I can't say about the new short magnun mdl. 7's but i own 2 in standard calibers.A 7mm-08 and a 22-250.The 7-mm-08 will put 3 shots under an inch at 100 yds. with factory ammo.The 22-250 took a little work,but with a handload puts 5 shots under a half inch.I also own several 700's and the mdl. 7 is as accurate as them.If i wanted a short magnum in a light handy rifle,I would definately try a mdl. 7 Rem.

    I beleive your username answers your question. I would never buy a model 70 over a rem 7 or 700. Just my preference, not an argument starter.

    When in doubt...empty the magazine!!
