I have a High Standard Supermatic Trophy 5 1/2" Military Model 106 .22 cal handgun. In excellent condition...only shot a few times over 40 years ago. It is in its orginal box with balance weights and muzzle brake.(cat # 9245) extra mag. too. What is a fair price for this handgun.

I can't figure out what this rifle is. it has a 16 inch bull barrel retractable stock and picatinny rail...no sights...the only identifier is mod P.C.R. with no number...I always assumed it was a pcr one but they have a 20 or 24 inch barrel according to the book...and clues?

I have a PA State Police 75th Anniversary Smith and Wesson 357 mag that has never been fired in the original wooden case. It has the PA State Police logo on the side. I believe it is a model 13.

This was given to a PA State trooper that I know in 2001 when he retired.
Any comments on it's value would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Keith

    Hi All.

I appraised a home this morning and instead of getting a check the homeowner offered me a s/s S&W Mdl 629-5 2" in .44 mag cal. Before I say anything I need to know what the value is on this puppy. Therefore, any help would be appreciated.

I am new to the hand gun world. BO has given me much incentive to find a few. A guy wants to sell me a 357 ruger from 1976 the service six. Says its great and from everything I read it is a good gun. Is it really worth 350?

I just bought a used SKB 585 sporting clay in 12 gauge with 28" barrels. It's in 90% condition or better. Came with a SKB fitted case and 10 chokes. Paid $832 out the door. Was it a good buy? How much does a new one sell for? P.S. not the gold model, just the silver engraved receiver.

    Thanks

My dad purchased a match pair of 870 wing masters one is 28ga the other is 410. Both are with skeet barrels. The blueing is 90% on the barrels and 100% on the recivers. The gold inlays are 100%. The wood has no blemishes and is very shinny. Can some one tell me what these might be worth. At the same auction there was a winchester 42 410 that went for $1300. Can some one tell me what the 2 870s are worth.

    Thanks

I just acuired a ruger blackhawk single six in a 357. This gun has a 6inch barrel without any sights. I was wondering is the no sights was a factory thing or if it was customized. The hammer is also a little different, my dad refered to it as "the old fanner 50" style. The gun is in exelent shape and is a dream to shoot but hard to get use to with no sights. I payed 100 dollers for the gun and belt rig. I think any brand name gun for a hundered bucks is a good buy but what is this worth and what do i have?

There aren't enough of these that change hands on a regular basis to allow setting a hard and fast price. It sounds like a nice piece for condition, with some custom features; and there probably aren't that many around anymore in that condition. Still, to me, it sounds high. I'd be very interested at $1,500 and might go $1,800; but no higher. In the end you'll have to make the decision. If you want it badly enough, and the owner won't come down, you'll have to meet his price.

Since you're the Stevens nut you should be answering the question.
If you'd be buying it with a view to selling or trading it off in the future, I'd say don't because it's overpriced.
If you have the collectors disease, have to have this model and can't beat the owner down, then pay the money and forget the cost.
The value of an object to an avid collector is greater than the market price.
