As you said, ANY info. 765 which is 7.65 millimeters, in pistol ammo, is the same as our .32 cal., court is French for short, thus .32 short, coups is French for shots, thus 9 shots. Unique was a brand name, probably French, dating possibly from pre WWI. Hope this helps and hope the "experts" can expand on that info to validate or correct it. Comment: that 9 shots seems to indicate a semi auto (you didn't say) but a .32 short rimless cartridge is either very rare or non-existent. If this is a revolver, a 9 shot .32 is in itself a rare bird. Robert

Unique pistols, made by Manufacture D'Armes Des Pyrenees since about 1923. This is the Kriegsmodell, made after the Germans took over the factory in WW II. It's a semi auto in .32acp.

Good Morning; Looking thru the Database and have quite a History to report to you concerning the Selbastlade Pistole Unique...
The Selbestladepistole Unique: Unique Kriegsmodell: Until the outbreak of World War Two, Manufacture d'Armes des Pyren'ees at Hendaye produced a simple blowback pistol, the Model 17 in caliber 7.65mm. After the German occupation of 1940 production of the Pistol in an unmodified form was recommenced. Approximately 50,000 were produced before it was decided to modify the weapon. The result was the Kriegsmodell, the War model, that was very similar to its predecessor but had an external hammer. About 25,000 of the Kriegsmodell were produced with WaA stamp 251. The grips were often marked 7.65mm/m9 Schuss which indicated the caliber and cartridge capacity of eight in the magazine and one in the chamber. As for the Currant value, my database shows that a Unique in Good condition is worth $325.00..
Hope this information is of some help to you....Best....
