I own a mint condition Winchester model 1200, 20 ga. purchased in the mid 60's. As I recall they offered 3-4
accessory interchangeable barrels...i.e. rifled slug and ventilated rib versions. Are these still available as factory new equipment or must I try and find used ones... what should I expect to pay for top condition used or factory new (if still available?) I am interested in acquiring both of the above mentioned barrel versions.

I was looking at the Cabella magazine I just got and seen the replacement barrels for Winchester. I have a 1300 and was looking for a rifled slug barrel a few years ago. In the magazine it says that the 1300 barrels will work in the 1200. The only thing is that with the 1200 you can only shoot 2 3/4" shells with replacement 1300 barrels. The rifled slug barrel can be yours for $169 new and the Vent Rib can be yours for $184.99. Personally I would shop around because the factory new prices are way too high. I shopped on E B A Y . C O M and got a beautiful barrel for $85. That is what I would do and get a used one, especially with the gun not being in new condition. The other thing that should be noted that in the Cabella magazine all of the barrels are 12 gauge and they don't mention anything about the 20 gauge. My guess however is that all of the same things apply to the 20 gauge. Hope this helps.
