Colt 1860 Army in Stainless Steel

I recently purchased a 1860 Army made by Colt in 1982. I found out the date by checking in reference books at the library with the serial number. But the reference books did not mention how many were made from stainless steel. If anyone has any information on this I would appreciate it. Thanks, Karl.

I bought one when they came out. Colt announced they were also going to make 1851 Navys and the 36 Pocket Police in stainless but they cancelled these plans sorely disappointing me.
I believe production was 1000 or less.
