OM Super Blackhawk value?

I have a chance to buy a 98% Old Model Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum for $500. It has NOT been converted and doesn't have a box. Its an 80- series made in 1970. A really beautiful and highly polished gun. High, low, or about right on the price?

    Recently sold an 80 prefix Super 98% condition in the box on the auction side for $450. so it sounds as if it may be a bit high. Check the ended auctions to see what they have been selling for.

    You know sometimes you have to figure you're not paying too much you're just buying it a little too soon! If it's something you really want or have been looking for, for sometime go for it.
