i usually shoot 6mm rem however i just purchased a dpms ar15 set-up
with a 24 inch extreme super bull option with a 1x8 twist. my question is :
with the 1x8 twist, is my set-up geared to shoot heavy or light bullets? i guess heavy would be in the 55gr. and above area.

62-69 grainer's should treat you well.
The 1:8" twist will handle all the way up to and including the 80 gr. Match bullets. It's a great set up that will also handle the lighter bullets.
