i have an older sp1 [1976] just developed a case of the jams. it has been totaly stripped , cleaned , and lubed, reassembled. it still jams. when you fire a round the fired case does not eject although a new round is chambered , 90% of the time the fired case sits aligned with the mag. on the inside left of the receiver holding the bolt open.it is loose, not still in the bolt face. manually cycled rounds are no problem, they load, eject normally .my thoughts are that the bolt needs to be changed out. any other ideas? thanks, Bob

I'd then check to see that the ejector is traveling freely and is sufficently lubricated. It's an often forgotten/missed spot for lube.
If the problem persists I'd change out both the extractor and ejector springs.
