Taking Apart Ithaca Pump (Chinese Clone)

It is a Chinese copy of an Ithaca 37. I got the barrel off in the usual way. Removed butt stock and trigger group. Even wiggled the shell lifter out the back of the action.

I can't seem to get the bolt assembly loose from the action bars. This shotgun does have two action bars, unlike the Ithaca, which has one.

I would also like to remove the forend from the forend tube, but the forend nut has no cuts in it to accept a wrench.

Any help appreciated.

Also, how many parts interchange between the Chinese gun and the real deal?

remove plate screw ( 17 if you have Schematic) pull trigger plate to rear and out'
remove the carrier screws lock screws and then carrier screws.
Hold reciever bottom up with magazine to left...
use a small punch to pull slide pin toward body until slide bar can be pulled forward from slide.
pull slide breech block and carrier all together out the back of the frame...

Try searching for a Norinco Model 37. I have one of these slug slingers also for deer hunting. The only name on it is Shogun. From what I understand Norinco is the maker of them. I actually recently ordered an Ithaca pistol grip stock for my shogun to make shooting more comfortable. If it works I will probably write something up about it. I have found more questions about this than answers.

FYI, it worked, took a little bit of shaving inside of the stock to get a smooth action out of the gun.
Much nicer to shoot though with the pistol grip stock.
