Believe it not but the 5Lb. hammer worked better than the 3Lb. hammer.
But it did come apart.

    Does Jennings make decent pistols? I found one in a .22 for $50.

    how about a Jennings 9mm ? they seem to be a lil more durable and yes...a lil more in price.. what about a Jimenez ?

    Most will reply to just continuing firing it until it comes off on its own.

    In the meantime, looking at the firearm from the rear you will see a circular button on the back of the slide. Push that in with a pencil and you will be able to lift the rear of the slide free from the frame. Remove the slide forward.

    Of course, this is using an unloaded firearm with the magazine removed.
