308 FN surplus

I came across some 308 surplus ammo stamped "FN" "58" and "FN" "59". It had been in belts. Price is cheap but I'm unfamiliar with the lot. Would these be corrosive? Has anybody had any experience with them? Thanks, Dave

    FN..Fabrique National (Belgian ammo). If the headstamp has a little circle with a cross in it, it's NATO spec. Non-corrosive. Same pressures as US 7.62 NATO. Should be quality ammunition. Joe
