Mossburg AT600

I have a Mossburg AT600 and it has an ajustable choke on it and I was wondering if I could use a slug in the shotgun....Please help or do I need to buy another gun....

    No problem.

    My first shotgun was a 600, and I used the 28" Poly-Choke barrel for a few 3-Gun matches before I got a shorter, cylinder-bore barrel. Just dial the choke to Open and the slugs will whistle through. On the plus side, if you're up for some punishing bench sessions, you can experiment with different choke settings to see which shoots your slugs the best. I'd advise staying away from Full choke.

    I also found the longer sight radius, if you can call it that on a shotgun with a front bead and no rear sight, of the 28" barrel made hitting with slugs easier out at 50+ yards.

    Thanks MrOrange I had a couple of people tell me not to do it but I thought I could... As long as it was on I Cyl.... That is what the box said also. But at the sametime I don't want to ruin the gun or worse hurt myself when using a firearm....
